Libby’s textile, pattern and colour interest began way before it became an actual practise.
Her mother, Winifred, changed the decor of the house from room to room like round robin, once the whole house was complete, she began again.

The pile of influential ‘Home Beautiful’s’ always provided Win, a new design approach. Growing up through the heavily patterned wallpapered walls, linoleum floors and ornately decorated bedspreads of the 70’s and 80’s each room presented a variation in theme of pattern and colour palette. It is little wonder that Libby’s interest in fabric design took over from her initial escape of drawing and painting.
